According to Men’s Health weight loss advisor Alan Aragon, the key  to weight loss is adjusting your carb intake. An easy way to calculate how much carbs you need per day is by multiplying your target body weight in POUNDS by 1 if you have a desk job, 2 if you are a recreational athlete who trains for more than 1 hour a day and multiply by 3 if you train multiple hours per week. DETOX….

Detox is not about having an occasional smoothie or going on a day trip to “detox.” Our bodies need to detox and cleanse our system DAILY.  We are exposed to toxins from our external environment like pollution, chemicals, pesticides, caffeine, and internally like lactic acid, hydrogen ions from excessive exercise and metabolism, used up hormones and the list goes on. 

We need to clean all this DAILY. The food we eat plays a HUGE role. Eat organic chemical free produce whenever you can, include loads of bitter leaves (spinach-rocket), walnuts-avocados- asparagus contain glutathione which is KEY to the detox process, foods with VIT E and VIT C, loads of fibre, folic acid and B vitamins!  

Breath deeply, sleep DEEPLY, drink water and SWEAT! Sweating helps get rid of some of the toxins from you skin!
